Proviene da allevamenti nella regione Rio Grande do Sul ed è conciato in Brasile senza sostanze chimiche nocive. VEJA utilizza coloranti conformi alle normative e promuove un uso responsabile dell’acqua durante il processo di concia. Il suede è poi trattato con oli idrorepellenti privi di PFC per proteggere le sneakers dalla pioggia leggera.
